Villa Louna, Letymbou, Paphos is a villa situated in a secluded, private & tranquil sensory on the outskirts of the little Cypriot village of Letymbou. It is ideally situated, being just 30 mins from Paphos International Airport and 30 minutes from the heart of Paphos Town in one direction and 30 minutes from Polis in the other. Local Amenities can be found in Letymbou (walk to coffee shops/tavernas/wine bar)
Villa Louna is situated within the tranquil settings of the location and is also just a short drive from various local villages which have a great variety of restaurants, cafes and shops / kiosks, to enhance your stay. In 10-20 minutes or less you have the villages of Kallepia, Polemi, Tsada, and into Paphos (so your evening’s entertainment is taken care of when you do wish to leave the villa). There is also a nice and renowned taverna just 500m away serving traditional food drinks as well as a traditional house (Andreas and Sofias) serving home cooked meals, coffees and more.. Monastiraki Taverna in Kallepia (5 mins drive) offers something more upmarket
During the days, you have a variety of interesting places to visit. Close to home are Paphos town & harbour, the Troodos region (with all its pretty surrounding villages) & the wonders of the mountain settings and accompanying lifestyle. For days when a little more of an adventure is sought after then you are well placed to try Polis & Latchi with its fantastic opportunity to visit the Blue Lagoon (by hired boat), Nicosia with all its history and culture and Limassol, with its lovely new promenade and marina. Golf is just 15 minutes away at Minthis Hills. These options and many others ensure your trip to Cyprus is diversified and varied (if sight-seeing is what you are looking for)

As you drive down the road towards the villa you can clearly see how peaceful and private the villa will be. The villa is a spacious 4 bedroom which is located in its own secluded plot which is surrounded (and enclosed) by fences, stone walls, established mature shrub trees and hedges. The entrance to the plot is through double gates, leading to the front of Villa Louna, which has lots of space for parking several cars

The hob, oven and dishwasher were all in perfect condition; these appliances are often “tired” in rentals, with the oven especially being off-temperature, which is a challenge if you are trying to cook some Cyprus lamb. In this rental, everything worked perfectly. We asked for a small heater before arrival in case we needed some warmth in the evenings without turning on the full heating, and on arrival we found the owner had bought a small heater and left it for us fresh out of the box. This, along with frequent gifts of fruit and cakes, showed the warm heart of the owners. The location was perfect for us—we love to walk in the hills and swim in the sea, and the villa is very well positioned to reach all our favourite walks. Our favourite restaurant is To Stekki tou Panai in Kathikas. We have been eating there since 2018 and it’s the best family taverna in the area, with really good traditional cuisine. After a walk in the Akamas, we love to have cakes and snacks in the Art Cafe in Polis—Tina, the German host, does some amazing cakes. Polis also has two good supermarkets, three fishmongers and a traditional butcher if you want a wider selection than what’s in the supermarkets. Service from LetsRentOnline.com was excellent as always, and the local managers and owners were warm and caring hosts. There is nothing to improve—the service is excellent. We have no problem with our comments being used—people should be aware of excellent service.!'' |

The location was very scenic and quiet, and we loved the rural surroundings and views from the villa. The village of Letymvou was very beautiful and the location is somewhere you can relax and have privacy, which we absolutely loved. Due to the location, we would recommend that a car is essential to reach the property. We would recommend the local taverna and the food and welcome here was excellent. We would also recommend the winery in the village, which is open on a Saturday for wine tasting and you can also buy the wine as well. The winery and wine is highly recommended. |
