The beautiful stone built villa is set in the picturesque mountainside in one of Peyia's most exclusive residential areas. It has 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, (en-suite to each bedroom plus cloakroom), sleeping 6 (one or two infants extra could be permitted in addition). Each bed is dressed with co-ordinated fabrics. The villa benefits from full air conditioning throughout as well as ceiling fans and flyscreens. The modern conveniences include wireless internet (wi-fi) , and Premium Channel IPTV in the lounge. The lounge also has a built-in wood burner (for those cooler evenings in Nov--March). The spacious fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher as well as other gadgetry required for home from home cooking.
The outside dining area nestles under a wooden pergola for shade and privacy and features a BBQ. The villa’s garden even comes complete with its own fruit trees. Finally but by no means least, Villa Nostalgia has a private walk-in pool (larger than average at 10m x 5m) with easy 'walk-in access' overlooking the spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea

Entrance to the grounds which sit privately below road level is via solid wooden double gates surrounded by decorative stoned archway. There are 17 flat and fairly wide crazy paved stairs with metal handrail down to main entrance door of villa. The entrance is to the rear of the villa where there is a small galley style garden with chipping and steppingstone gated walk way around the villa leading to the private pool area & views.

Winding up through the banana plantations after a short drive along the coast road from Paphos brings you to Peyia (Peigeia). Nostalgia has a delightful position on the hillside in Peyia overlooking the surrounding valley and out to Sea.
The village of Peyia is one of the most picturesque and popular villages in the Paphos area. Peyia is spread over a large area with the village centre having many good amenities including bars, restaurants, tavernas, shops and banks. Peyia is a typical Cypriot village. A beautiful ancient church forms the heart of the village while the narrow streets and alleyways are full of old and interesting houses adorned with colourful flowers and citrus trees.
The Centre of Peyia is still largely unspoilt with lively tavernas and friendly locals. You can also buy all your provisions including fresh meat and bread in the shops in Peyia. The early morning aroma of freshly baked bread, sweet and savoury local pastries and cakes coming from the Peyia bakery is almost too much to resist!

Things to do in the Peyia area include many watersports on the beach at Coral Bay, diving, Paphos Bird and Animal Park, horse riding, visiting the protected Akamas Peninsula and Lara Beach Nature Reserve (famous for turtles), hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, the Sea Caves and Agios Georgios area, sailing and many more. From Peyia the attractions in Paphos and renowned Paphos Aphrodite Water Park are also easily accessible, as are numerous archaeological ruins in Paphos such as the Tombs of the Kings and Paphos Archaeological Park.
If you want to get out and explore Cyprus' fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas Peninsula, Polis, Latchi or even the Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations.Troodos is the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski!

''The villa was perfect - we couldn't fault it in any way. The view, cleanliness and equipment within the villa were all of a far higher standard than we have seen from other properties before. We have been visiting this area of Cyprus on and off since 2014 - this is by far the nicest villa we have ever stayed in. Location was ideal. We were already familiar with the area so we knew our way around and knew that we would need a rental car to get about. Restaurants - lots! Dolce Vita in Coral Bay stood out as being a little more special. Long time favourites of ours are Anesi, Elisaveta, Harmony and Sunset Tavern. We did the Koulla full day boat trip out of Latsi by Cyprus Mini Cruises - excellent day and I would recommend. Faultless service from you and locally. We were notified of a delivery that was expected at the villa as they didn't want us to be disturbed. I doubt we would have been disturbed anyway but it was nice that the consideration was there. We had no reason to contact them ourselves as everything at the villa was perfect! Thanks again for a wonderful holiday - there were 4 of us and we loved every minute. There were 5 of us, 2 older teens and a 12 year old and we all loved it, the kids found the WiFi was particularly good :) Plenty of space, comfortable beds, all rooms have ceiling fans and additional aircon, The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, best we've ever had. The pool area was outstanding, so relaxing and plenty of shaded space; it was incredibly hot when we were there. The pool was a lovely respite from the heat and once you were in it was fine. We loved the location, but definitely need a car. The views were lovely Peyia Tavern for Meze was particurlarly lovely as it is a Cypriot family that run it. Peggys was a surprise find for a lovely break in the garden for a drink after our walk. The bakery in the village was excellent, the baklava fantastic. Papandriou supermarket in lower peyia much better than the little mini mart in the village. Sugar great for cocktails with roof terrace. Great walk when we visited the Bath of Aphrodite just outside Latsi, Corallia beach was our preferred beach as the kids found it better for snorkeling Very satisfied with contact, lots of useful info, re taxi s etc which we used and were very satisfied. Local contact was good, offering assistance if we needed it, but no pressure. We had a query when we were there which was answered promptly. ''The villa was wonderful for the price paid, the rear being a real sun trap and the night lighting was a very nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped with all you could reasonably require and the bedrooms were of a good size with plenty of storage. The furnishings were of a better standard than average for a rental of this price range, and the decor particularly around the outside areas and under the awning was nicely done creating a relaxing space with a bit more soul than in some properties. The villa is conveniently located, and we had no problem finding it; although we are well used to Cyprus, so this may not be the case for someone who has never been before. Whilst the property is not secluded, it is sufficiently private that you can largely exist without constant awareness of the neighbours, aside from a birthday party on our first night the area was very quiet. It is also easy to get provisions as you are located near to a variety of supermarkets and most importantly bakeries. Having being going to Cyprus for 28 years there are many things to recommend, but of course everyone has there own tastes. For restaurants, I would have to say that Hondros in Paphos is a long time favourite, offering a proper and genuinely Cypriot experience in contrast to the many identikit tourist offerings that you could find anywhere in southern europe. On the same vein, I would also recommend Moustakalis in Polis, which is along the same lines as Hondros but with a slightly more relaxed vibe as can be found in Polis in general. Latchi watersports is alway a must for us, we have used them a number of times over the years, and they are a wonderfully professional and friendly outfit that offers a broad range of activities. We have used LetsRentOnline on a number of occasions and have always been pleased with the serviced received. There is enough support to provide reassurance, but at the same time old hands like ourselves are allowed to get on with things. Simple and effective, cannot really think of anything to improve on as everything always works brilliantly. We did not have a lot of interaction on this front as we did not want to trouble anyone seeing as we have plenty of experience. We did receive a visit from Diana on the day of departure which was nice, mostly just to check that everything had been ok and also to advise us that we could stay beyond checkout if needed as there were no guests immediately arriving. Again, all excellent and nothing to complain about. I would suggest continuing as you are!. ''. |

''The villa was great, had everything we needed and a lot of the utensils/appliances seemed new. It was clean and very tastefully decorated. It was perfect for our family of 5, all of the bedrooms had an en-suite which was great. The outside area is a showstopper! The view is spectacular and it was just bliss to sit around the lovely pool or take shade on the decking area. I love the village of Pegiea, we often walked into the village where there are small supermarkets, bars and restaurants. It’s a very peaceful area, but with everything you need. We prefer Corallia beach to the busier Coral Bay, think more of the locals visit here as well and the kids loved exploring the rocks. We went to Phuket restaurant after our visit to the waterpark as we received a 10% discount when leaving and the food was very nice, would go back again. Also, Sala Thai along the coral Bay strip is very good. I would recommend George’s Watersports in Latchi, beautiful harbour with lots of restaurants, we hired a boat and chartered it ourselves, the Blue Lagoon is gorgeous and great for swimming. The children thoroughly enjoyed the rubber ring we attached to the back of the boat too This is the second time I have booked with Steven at Lets Rent Online, he is so helpful and provides all the information needed, he is prompt at replying to messages and keeping you updated, especially this year as I had lots of questions regarding the COVID pandemic! I can’t fault the service provided and would recommend to anyone, I will certainly be using this company again in the future. Diana was lovely too, the bbq wasn’t working when we arrived, but this was fixed straight away. We kept in touch via mobile messaging. We had an amazing holiday, the villa was fantastic. The changeover day is flexible however bookings leaving unrentable periods (less than 7 days) between existing bookings may not be accepted.
Deposit Information
A refundable security deposit of £150 is required to cover any damage or breakages to the property.
30% deposit required, with the balance paid 56 days prior to arrival.
Changeover Day
FlexibleAccess to the property is anytime from 3pm on arrival.Guests must vacate the villa by 11am on the day of departure.
