Welcome to ‘Villa Leantros’, a stunning holiday home situated just 100m from the beach and sea overlooking the unspoilt coastline of Argaka Bay, and the Mediterranean Sea. Argaka is a very affluent and tranquil location situated just outside the traditional yet vibrant town of Polis, just North of Paphos.

After leaving the coast road, the villa is easily accessed and it is possible to walk to local amenities as desired. A newly constructed promenade assists with walking along the coastline in both directions and you can take a dip in the Sea at your leisure. Several Tavernas as well as the beach itself forms part of a beautiful stretch of coastline going all the way to Latchi and the Akamas Nature Reserve in one direction and ‘Pomos’ (the last village in the South of Cyprus) in the other. Santa Barbara Beach Bar/Taverna (changing area and sun-loungers) is just 300 metres away.
It’s a 5 minute walk (300m) to another Taverna with kind owners serving delicious Cypriot food. There is even an Irish Bar just 1km away which has Wi-Fi, entertainment, great food/drinks selection and overlooks the Sea from its verandah. They also run a kids activity club in the summer months.



This charming, spacious villa is set in a serene secluded spot surrounded by agricultural fields, palms and citrus trees. There are four en suite bedrooms, sleeping eight (one or two infants extra would be permitted). A/C is throughout the villa and it is complete with modern conveniences which include wireless internet, and Premium Channel IPTV in the lounge (Premium channels include sports, music and cinema). The fully equipped kitchen features a gas hob and extractor fan, dishwasher, microwave and the washing machine is in the upstairs utility area.

Surrounded by substantial and mature fruit trees, bushes and exotic plants, the secluded outdoor area features an inviting 10m by 5m private swimming pool with Roman Steps for ease of access, sun loungers (and accompanying tables), parasols and 2 x poolside dining areas (both seating 8). One is shaded under a wooden pergola as is the pool table. There is a large stone BBQ for alfresco dining.
The upper level features two large verandas, both offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, the glistening coastline and surrounding pine covered mountains.

The beach is a one/two minute walk away along with the lovely little beach Café/Taverna (Santa Barbara) where you can dine from 9am each day, enjoy a cool drink when it gets too hot or admire the amazing sunsets. All other amenities such as traditional Cypriot restaurants, bars, 2 bakeries and two mini-markets, are also within walking distance or a very short car journey away.

DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR

Ground Floor

As you step into the villa via the large outdoor porch you will enter the bright, spacious living room/dining area. To the left there is the lounge featuring a comfortable corner sofa arrangement, a traditional stone working fireplace, glass top coffee table, flat screen TV with IPTV and french doors leading to the beautiful pool area.

Adjacent to the living area you will find the large fully equipped kitchen. This generous space features a large dining table comfortably seating eight. All modern conveniences are present including the all-important coffee filter machine.
Leaving the kitchen/lounge area we move towards the ground floor bedrooms. The rear bedroom features a king sized bed, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, mirror and en suite shower room

The second bedroom is adjacent to the first and it features twin beds This bright beautiful bedroom also features built in wardrobes, en suite shower room, dressing table with mirror and patio doors leading out to the beautiful pool area.





First Floor

Moving up the marble staircase you will arrive at the upper landing which hosts the washing machine, sink and built in cupboards. Straight ahead is the romantic master suite featuring a king sized bed, built in wardrobes, dressing table with mirror, en suite bathroom and patio doors leading out to a sunny veranda which offers a lovely view of the lush vegetation in the surrounding area and the outline of the Akamas Nature Reserve. Amazing Sunset Views are available most of the year. The second set of patio doors leads out to a shared verandah which has views of the Sea.

The second upstairs bedroom is a twin room. It features built in wardrobes, en suite bathroom and patio doors leading out to the large shared sea facing veranda.




Please note that the owner can supply 2 cots and 2 highchairs for younger children. There are hairdryers in each bedroom. Quality Mattresses have been added for your comfort.

**The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as many channels in German, Spanish and Russian. There is also an automatically updated Video Library with films, series and more**.







DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

As you leave the lounge through the French doors you will arrive at the stunning private pool area. The glistening 10m by 5m pool with Roman Steps stretches across the patio area. It is surrounded by 8 sun loungers, 2 parasols, 4 drinks tables and the outdoor dining areas.

The first dining area is sheltered by a wooden pergola and features a picnic table seating 8, a classic stone BBQ for those alfresco dinners and a pool table for those who fancy a few games in the shade. The second table and chairs is just outside the living area and has a parasol for shade as required.



Around the side of the house there is an enclosed garden where you will find fruit trees and lawn area. Surrounding the property are many fruit trees including bananas and oranges.

Private Parking is available just outside the Gate of the Property. There is space for 3-4 cars

The Local Area

Villa Leantros is situated on the coastline of Argaka, a beautiful and somewhat unspoilt Cypriot Village sandwiched between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and some spectacular mountains filled with pine trees.








Argaka is home to a number of traditional Cypriot restaurants, a beach bar and an Irish Bar as well as a bakery and 2 mini-markets. Many of these amenities are in walking distance of the villa or within a very short car journey. Travel a little way and you reach the bigger town of Polis.

There is plenty of activity to choose from, whether you wish to dine in one of the many restaurants, shop at some larger supermarkets, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or just watch the world go by in the ambience of the traditional village square.

The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best on this side of the island and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself (which can be reached by car in 30 minutes or under). Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. Take one of the boat rides (or even hire your own) to the ‘blue lagoon’, have a swim and/or snorkel, then come back to the pretty harbour/fishing port and have the famous ‘Fish Meze’ where you will be served approx 20 dishes including some of the freshest catches of the day whilst watching the world go by.

For the more adventurous, you can enter the ‘Akamas’ Nature reserve and go all the way round to ‘Lara Beach’ famous for its turtles and wonderful beach. If it is unspoilt Cyprus you are looking for, this is a great area to visit. You may even venture into the nearby villages of Peristerona, Lysos and Miliou or further on to Kathikas (with its vineyards and wineries), Droushia and Panagia. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in Winter, you can even Ski!Paphos airport is 1 hour away by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Argaka and you won’t be disappointed.

''The villa was very spacious, very clean and well cared for. The bed was comfortable. The pool was amazing, the best of any villa we've rented. The sunbeds were very comfortable and the villa was very well equipped indoors and outdoors.

The location was perfect for us, very quiet, private and secluded yet within easy walking distance for the beach and nearby bar/restaurant. We particularly liked Santa Barbara's restaurant, just 5 minutes walk away. We also loved Moustakallis Tavern in Polis, which was a 15 minute drive away with an excellent atmosphere and great value for money. With regards to sightseeing etc we liked Paphos Archaeological Park and the Tomb of the Kings, the old town of Paphos and also the harbourside with its great restaurants. Latchi is a lovely seaside resort and we also visited the Baths of Aphrodite and had a lovely walk in the hills nearby. The Museum of Village Life in Steni was fascinating, and the Polemi concentration camp near Stroumpi was poignant.

Very satisfied with your service, you kept us well informed from the point of booking right up till we arrived. We met the owner on the second day of our stay and he was very helpful. He had also provided a great, generous welcome pack which meant we didn't have to go dashing straight out to a supermarket. This was very much appreciated. We also had his contact number in case of problems...which thankfully there weren't!

''We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Leantros, thank you. A good family friendly villa, with excellent pool and great outside area to enjoy and relax and listen to waves crashing on the beach. Four good sized bedrooms all with en-suites and comfortable beds. Villa was clean and tidy and good equipment within the kitchen.

Good secluded location close to beach and some restaurants within walking distance along sea front. Argaka is a quiet resort but that is what we were looking for. I would recommend a car so you can get out and visit restaurants in Polis and Latchi as well as excursions to Akamas Peninsula, and Troodos Mountains.

Moustakallis Tavern in Polis is a fantastic traditional Cypriot restaurant and great value for money. Santa Barbara Resto & Beach Bar is an easy walk from the villa that serves great food, amazing sunsets although a little more expensive than other places. Enjoyed an amazing seafood platter at Faros Fish Tavern in Latchi.

Great communication as always Steven with letsrentonline, from booking, arranging taxi and recommendations for car hire. Easy to use website, navigate and view all the lovely villas you list.

''The villa was clean and tidy. Outside was lovely with plenty of space and shade. Location was good, far enough off the beaten track to be quiet, but also close enough to shops and restaurants to be able to walk or take a short car journey.

We would highly recommend the Santa Barbara Restaurant, lovely food and great staff.

Service provided by Let's Rent Online was once again outstanding.

Our communication with the local manager/owner was good, we did have to contact them regarding the swimming pool and they swiftly turned up and got it sorted. We also agreed a day & time for our mid stay clean.

''The property was amazing. The pictures don't show how spacious it is. It was immaculate & well equipped. The pool was fantastic & the pool table a welcome addition.

The villa is set in amongst fragrant orange groves & is secluded & private in its own grounds. We were lucky, the owner said we were able to pick fresh oranges daily. It is just a short walk to the beach & local tavernas & a short car drive to Polis. We hired a car to take us on trips to Kato Prygos & into the mountains on sight seeing tours & came across local tavernas.

You have been in touch constantly. Providing information & you have answered any questions speedily & efficiently. We were very satisfied with the owner, who introduced himself on arrival bringing a large selection of groceries - which was very welcome. He provided information about the villa & the grounds it is situated on & was available on his phone at any time if we had any problems.
He popped in on departure to see if we were OK & let us leave a little later.

The property & service has been second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The communication has made booking so much easier & less stressful. I would definitely use you again to book through.

A refundable security deposit of £200 is required to cover any damage or breakages to the property.

30% deposit required, with the balance paid 56 days prior to arrival.

Access to the property is anytime from 4pm on day of arrival. Guests must vacate villa by 11am on day of departure.
