Villa Alesia is situated in the breathtaking hills of Tremithousa which is just on the Northern edge of Paphos. Its elevated position ensures all-round town and sea views which can be enjoyed from the landscaped garden, swimming pool and from most rooms of the house.
Only a 15 minute drive from the Blue Flag beaches at Coral Bay and from the centre of Paphos, Tremithousa is a popular location for visitors, ex-pat residents and holiday home owners alike.
Looking down on the main town of Paphos (out to the Med), this is a more traditional village which allows you to see the quieter way of life yet still offers all the local amenities you would require. Within 800m from the villa is the village square where you find a cafe/bar called 'Hunters Cafe' which offers an array of food & drink at various times of day & night. There is also a main hub of shops offering a larger choice from bakers (24 hours wth hot and cold food takeaway), supermarkets, more choice of eateries, petrol station & kiosk meaning anytime you find yourself needing to get something, there is somewhere close by to allow you to do so.
The village of Tremithousa sits proudly on the hill above Paphos, giving you stunning view of the city & areas. It also has easy access to the main Polis road & quick links to the motorway making it a perfect location to be for you to do your sightseeing towards Limassol, Larnaca & the Troodos mountains.
There is also a direct road to Tala which has a brilliant atmospheric village square where food & drink is offered all day & night. The monastery of Tala is also an excellent visitor attraction. Paphos Town can be reached in 10 minutes or less and the beaches and coastline at Coral Bay and Paphos are just 15 minutes away.
Neighbouring Tala offers a peaceful location with a good village heart including the impressive monastery (with cafe and cat sanctuary) and a fine selection of bars, restaurants, traditional tavernas and other eateries. Just outside Tala into the hillside is ‘Vatouthka', a family run Taverna with amazing views and atmosphere. The Sunday lunch buffet is the best value around and booking is always advisable.
Neighbouring villages Emba and Mesogi offer a further choice of restaurants and shops away from the main tourist areas. Mesogi is home to 2 large bakeries and couple of the best traditional tavernas around.
Kelftiko night at Vassos' taverna on a Thursday is a must do. Great traditional atmosphere, authentic food, music and dancing until late.
The village is conveniently situated for Golf at 'Minthis Hills', with further golf courses at ‘Elea Estate' (Faldo designed), Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills less than 30 minutes away by car. More info on Golf in Paphos, Cyprus here
The villa provides an ideal location for wedding parties and honeymooners with the many weddings that take place in Cyprus (the island of love), and is perfect for those seeking a peaceful, relaxed lifestyle within close proximity of modern amenities.

''The property Villa Alesia was very satisfactory, the decor and furnishings were of a high standard. I’ve been renting villas in Cyprus for 30 years and would have no hesitation about staying there again.
Location was fine, view was great. Stayed in this location 20 years ago.
Hickory’s and Duomo (thank you for the voucher) are places we ate recently, and were impressed.
Your help when booking and while we were there was excellent.
Visited twice this year, will come again before Christmas..''

''The villa was lovely - exactly what we had hoped for and we had a fabulous week there.
Perfect for the 3 of us - we had plenty of space and the views at sunset were breathtaking. Well equipped with all we needed for a week, and the pool was perfect.
As others have mentioned, a car is essential in order to reach the beach / shops etc, and the location is a little remote, but once we figured out where everything was, it was fine. We loved Coral Bay Beach - beautiful location with plenty of activities.
Your directions were useful as were the tips and hints for activities and restaurants. Communication was excellent and all questions were answered very promptly. Ben was really helpful when we got lost the first night! And communication was excellent with the installation of the new dishwasher. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Many thanks, Caroline .''

''Villa Alesia is a lovely villa, with a great pool & fantastic views down to the coast. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood ensuring that you have a relaxing stay. A car is recommended if you wish to explore the area. The Villa itself is very spacious & can adequately cater for 8 people with plenty of room outside for sunbathing. A welcome pack with all the essentials including a bottle of wine is waiting for you on arrival. It’s very rare that we stay at the same Villa twice, but I’d make an exception for Villa Alesia.
We travel to Paphos frequently and can recommend the following restaurants – Martikas Kitchen in Tala, Sonnys & Sunset Breeze in Kissonerga, and Elizaveta in Peyia.
Can highly recommend Lets Rent Online. Have booked Villas through them several times & will do again in the future. No issues whatsoever. The two-person discount offer is not something I’ve seen anywhere else – a great benefit when booking as a couple. Very much appreciate the time taken to source Gluten Free bread for me & included in the welcome pack.''

''Hello, Thank you for a lovely stay at Villa Alesia , we found the Villa was perfect for our needs, the pool and the hot tub were fantastic and the views were amazing, we watched the most beautiful sunsets each evening, the villa was comfortable and clean having everything we could want even a daily visit from the local ice cream van made my husband very happy ! we visited the old town and the harbour where we had lovely evenings enjoying beautiful food and good music, we also visited the 24hr bakery often the cakes and pastries were delicious .... The only thing I would say is to recommend car hire as Villa Alesia is a bit out the way. We did hire a car in the end as it was more convenient, so would definitely recommend this to future guests. We do intend on returning to Cyprus with family and would not hesitate to book Villa Alesia again. The Local managers were lovely and helpful, as were the pool /hot tub maintenance couple who advised us on some local places to visit, we also went to the local water park and had a fantastic day, we drove to Coral Bay and this was just beautiful a must for visitors... Again a big thank you for a lovely stay at a lovely Villa. From Myself and my Family. Regards Wendy.''

''Lovely Villa, clean and liked the aspect of the living room to the outside with the large sliding doors.
Slightly further out than expected but not an issue as we hired a car and felt the area was nice and quiet.
We’d recommend the following food places; Argos Burger, Oggi Pasta Fresca, Oniro by the Sea
Your service was great as before and the reason we will continue to re-book via yourselves
We met the local managers on the second day and were very friendly. We never experienced any issues''

''Brilliant villa, such a beautiful place with stunning views. Out the way of traffic, but so close to everything if/when needed! 100% need a car to appreciate the island, however if you just wanted to chill in the villa the whole holiday then brilliant. We loved it, out the way but 10-20 minutes away from anywhere we wanted to go.
We loved Alphamega in Paphos for shopping. We ate at Martika's Kitchen in Tala one evening and the service was excellent and food was delicious. Coral Bay beach was fab, sea was gorgeous to swim in.
Yes definitely satisfied with your service, already looking at staying the same time next year in one of the other villas in Agia Sofia on your website. We loved every minute, thank you.''

''Many thanks for your email, we had a fantastic much needed break in Cyprus. The villa was great. If there were any queries Ruth was absolutely fantastic and went out of her way to help. Excellent location. We would recommend the local kebab shop at the top of the road.
All service received was very good. The local managers were excellent, so friendly could not fault them. Thank you once again for a great holiday, see you next year''

''The villa was lovely and very clean when we arrived. The amenities were excellent, and we had everything we needed. The outside space was exceptional and where we spent most of our time. The views over Paphos were beautiful, particularly at sunset.
The location was amid a very quiet, residential area. We were a 10 min walk to the nearest bar and another few minutes' walk from the bar was a Kebab restaurant which was used by the locals every night and very busy. We ate in this restaurant 2/3 times and was made to feel very welcome. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Another 10/15 minutes' walk led us to a 24-hour bakery, express market and a couple of restaurants which served similar food. The local people were very friendly as we walked out at night and although very quiet, we felt very safe. I would recommend the use of a torch as street lighting tends to 'run out' the nearer to the villa you got.
Highly recommend Ollie's bar - very friendly. Also recommend the Kebab restaurant (not sure what this was called) which is few mins away from Ollie's bar. Would also recommend Tavenaki restaurant - great food and inexpensive. Very friendly staff.
Very pleased with the responses I received from my many queries prior to going on holiday. Clear and concise instructions. We also used the taxi service you recommended whilst on holiday for food shopping and booked them for a return journey to the airport - very reliable service and have left a business card in the villa. Very pleased and satisfied with all communications - Ruth & Ade - the villa managers were very helpful. They called to see us at the villa to give us some tips on where to go in the local area.
We had a lovely holiday in a beautiful villa - thank you very much. ''

''We had a really brilliant time. The house was beautiful and the outside space made our trip.
We had a few issues with electrics & hot tub but all were resolved quickly and without any interruption to our stay. The service we received from lets rent was efficient and friendly so we have no complaints. Whilst a bit hard to find first time the location proved to be really handy, the bakery down the road make breakfasts a real treat.
We went to acropolis taverna one evening and whilst the food was lovely it was very quiet, we assumed this to be covid and midweek related and that was confirmed when we ordered for collection at the weekend and it was rammed with locals. Always a good sign. ''
Review by Graeme K from Lisburn - July 2019
Dear Graeme, thank you very much for taking the time to write such a positive review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We agree that a car is required to get the most from your stay (which we think is true of any Cyprus holiday) but it is not always necessary to use one due to the proximity of many amenities close to the villa. Amenities including a local bar/tavern within a few hundred metres, a hot food takeaway/bakery open 24 hours, shops, supermarkets, bigger tavernas, pharmacy and more are just on the edge of the village within 1km. All can be walked to. We thank you again for your kind comments and hope to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes. LetsRentOnlline
