"Good Morning from rain soaked England. In reply to your questions. we cannot fault the villa, the location is excellent, facilities in the village are great. As for the owner Lee, she is the epitomy of a thoughtfull careing owner, and a very nice person to boot. The villa its self is clean spacious, and I suppose a bit home from home. We shall be back later this year. Best Regards. Mick Wright. |

"Brilliant Villa. Well-maintained, spacious –the fruit orchard and swimming pool are highlights of the property. The location is secluded and peaceful, which suited us perfectly. Paradisos Lysos hotel in nearby Lysos has a good restaurant- family-run with tasty, authentic dishes. Very satisfied with you as agents and the local management also. Many thanks''

"Villa Lee is superb. The location is stunning. We didnt really go socialising we chose a private relaxing time instead. Your own service and communication has been very professional and friendly. The owners, Lee & Savvas are the most helpful and friendly people. We fully intend to use your company again, especially to re-visit Villa Lee.

"The villa was well looked after and had everything we needed, especially outside with the pool, separate eating areas and orchard. The pool was clean when we arrived and cleaned whilst we were there. All rooms were clean and tidy. The provision of towels for the pool as well as daily use was very thoughtful. We have already recommended the villa to 3 families. For us it was exactly right. There was no noise from any neighbours and we were able to make the most of the views of the hills and sunsets each day. Being 8-10km from Polis and Latsi was just the right distance for the quiet holiday we were after. Yiangos & Peter's Fish Restaurant on the harbour side in Latsi - the seafood meze was excellent. You were very helpful trying to accommodate alternative flights that we were considering. Lee came to see us on the first morning and explained where the local supermarkets are, as well as some tips on local restaurants''.

"The villa was excellent. Just as described and very clean and tidy. The location was perfect for us. Really quiet and secluded. We love Chloes Chinese in Paphos and Fat Mammas was a fun place to be. Had a really nice day when we hired a boat from Latchi Boat Hire Centre, the staff were a big help and really friendly. Aphrodite’s water park is also a good day out with loads of sun beds and inflatable rings available unlike the water park in Ayia Napa. Very courteous and efficient. Lee and Savvas are a lovely couple who were really helpful. We had a great stay and won’t hesitate to rent again through LetsRentOnline. Thanks for a great holiday''

"Back from our holiday in Cyprus after a wonderfull time! Would highly recommend Villa Lee, in fact we are already thinking of booking our return trip for next year! Villa Lee met all our expectations and more. The photos that you have on the web site make it look amazing but it looks even better when you actually see it, spotlessly clean house and spotlessly clean pool and gardens. Lee and Savvas that own it are a lovely couple and are very helpful, pointing us in the direction of great restaurants and lots of things to do in the area. Brilliant relaxing time had by all.''

"Just wanted to say thanks again for everything while we stayed. We had such a nice time in Villa Lee, Lee and Savvas are so helpful but completely aware of personal space. The villa is incredibly well looked after, it felt like home after our stay and we were gutted about leaving!! The whole booking process was easy and very smooth, so thanks to you too. It was without doubt the most relaxing holiday we have ever had!! We've been raving to everyone about the villa. It was so nice to stay somewhere that is obviously really looked after. Being able to lie out and catch the sun and swim in the surroundings of that gorgeous garden made our holiday. We've had a really busy few years setting up business in Dubai and the holiday has done us the world of good, we were so so sad leaving on Thursday. As soon as we can get dates for our hol next summer I'll be booking up, will not be looking elsewhere. Thanks again for all your help!!Take care and we look forward to seeing you again next year!! Ailsa & Paul xxx''
THE LOCAL AREA
Villa Lee, Peristerona near Polis, Paphos District, Cyprus DistancesLatchi Beach, Sea: 12km to Latchi Pharmacy/Hospital: 8km Peristerona Peristerona is a traditional mountain village in Paphos District, Cyprus. It's a picturesque village famous for its efforts to maintain the beauty and the traditions of Cyprus. Peristerona is primarily an agricultural village producing cereals, olives and almonds with its wonderful climate producing many delightful fruits and vegetables such as cherries, avocado, mango, watermelons, apples, lemons and oranges in abundance. The name Peristerona derives from the Greek word for dove or pigeon (peristeri). The church, St. Barnabas and Hilarion Church, has five domes on the roof arranged in the shape of a cross, a feature only seen on one other church in the island. Peristerona is always a very green village due to the lush vegetation. It all looks particularly special in winter and spring months and is ideal for photographers, artists and those who like to walk and even hike.
In various locations around Peristerona there are many remarkable landmark churches. Ayios Georgios was built in the 13th century where frescoes of Saint Mama can be found and it’s still protected by the antiquities department. Churches such as Panayia Chryselousa constructed at the end of the 15th century with Byzantine and Gothic elements, Profitis Elias, Ayios Constantinos, Ayios Charalambos and the country church of Archangel Michael provide for a unique perspective of the village’s history. The famous museum of Arsinoe displays an attractive collection of objects from the Byzantine period, including Byzantine icons from the 13th to 19th centuries, as well as wood carved ecclesiastical items, local and imported silver and metal artefacts as well as textiles. Rare books and manuscripts are also on display. Peristerona is situated between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the spectacular mountains of Paphos Forest and the Troodos. Walking in the forests is a delight. Filled with pine trees, fruit and olive trees, wild flowers and herbs and vineyards the air is scented and the views spectacular. The nearby village of Steni (also steeped in tradition) hosts a coffee shop with wireless internet access and a very good traditional taverna. Travel a little further into the hills and you will find Lysos, which has a very good horse riding school (please ask for details) and is also home to a very good traditional Cyprus taverna, with neighbouring shops and the more widely known Paradisos Hills Hotel which does an excellent Sunday buffet as well as a themed Indian night on a Friday. Heading back towards the coastline and you will find the small town of Polis. There is plenty of activity to choose from in Polis, whether you wish to dine in one of the many good quality restaurants, have a coffee or lunch in the central square, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or maybe even a boat! The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best in Cyprus and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself. Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. The watersports available at Latchi include diving, snorkelling, sailing, banana rides and a great deal more. Bring your UK driving licence and you can even hire a boat and explore the Akamas coast from the sea. Drop anchor when you feel like it and swim or snorkel in the warm crystal blue water of the Mediterranean Sea. For the more adventurous, you can explore the Akamas nature reserve and go all the way round to Lara Beach famous for its turtles and another wonderful unspoilt beach. You can also venture to the nearby villages of Miliou, Droushia and Panagia or further on to Kathikas with its vineyards and wineries. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in winter, you can even ski! Paphos airport is 40 minutes away by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Peristerona (for a taste of the real Cyprus) and you won’t be disappointed.
