Timi

Near Paphos airport, the coastline near Timi is sandy in places. There are places where you can rent a lounger, others where you can enjoy the sand and the sea. You choose. This is a quiet area where you won’t see many people. An evening bbq by the Sea is a great idea here.

Kato Paphos

Kato Paphos has a great beach with every form of watersports available and a host of restaurants nearby.

Coral Bay

Located near Paphos and probably the most famous beach in the paphis area, Coral Bay Beach is the perfect place to head for a great beach that slopes gently into the sea to enjoy the warm sea water. Filled with fine, yellow sands, the beach is a huge attraction for tourists and residents alike and is surrounded by several restaurants, cafeterias, shops and bars so you can enjoy a few tropical cocktails after spending the afternoon in the sun.

Toxeftra

Just north of Agios Georgios at Toxeftra there’s a long beach in a bay. With a bit of wind the waves can get up here – perfect for playing at surfing in between lying in the sun.

Lara

In the more remote Akamas Peninsula a 4×4 will take you to the beaches at Lara. You’ll find long sandy beaches sloping gently into the warm sea – and you’ll probably have the beaches to enjoy all on your own. Arguably the best beach on the island here.

Latsi (Latchi)

With a small harbour Latsi (latchi) also has a great, family-oriented beach within a short driving distance from Paphos. Located near a marina providing every form of watersports, the beach is a great place to lie in the sun before enjoying some of the fresh seafood sold in the restaurants and shops near the sandy beach. Hire a boat and go out to the blue lagoon where the water is an aqua colour and so clear you can still see the bottom over 100m out from the coastline.

Polis

Polis has a great sandy beach just to the noth of the town. Quiet and secluded, the perfect place to top up your tan.

Argaka, Agia Marina, Pomos

Stretching north from Polis past Argaka, Agia Marina and on to Pomos there are miles of beaches for you to enjoy. In Pomos you’ll find sunbeds and loungers, at Argaka you’ll probably have the beach to yourself.
