''This is the second time that my family has rented this villa and it was as good as all of our memories of the previous year. It was for us, a wonderful and comfortable villa. |

''Very nice, spacious villa. The location is peaceful, beautiful views towards Latchi and the sea, - Recommend Latchi Watersports, rent a boat and have fun, especially snorkling around the wreck was stunning, also recommend to drive to Kykkos Monestary, with a short stop in Stavros. |

''Our stay in the villa Prosefhi in Lysos was WONDERFUL. Everything was beyond our expectation. Nitsa and Yanis were helpful and felt very much at home. Thank you for your help along the way. The house and the yard were beyond all expectations. It was all lovely. The house is big, well equipped with a large kitchen, and the yard had a covered dining area next to a charcoal grill for cooking. The swimming pool is magnificent and well maintained. The location is ideal. The house is very near to a nice small village and at the edge of an enormous forest. The views from the property are spectacular. The town of Polis is a half hour drive and the beaches there are beautiful. There is also a supermarket there and gas stations. The service provided by “LetsRentOnline.com” before our arrival was extremely helpful. We needed two baby cots and a high chair. They were all in the house as promised. The local managers were very helpful and friendly. They greeted us with fresh fruit from their garden and they left us the basics until we could get to the super market. They were always available to answer all of our questions. I believe that we all intend to visit Cyprus again in the near future. |

''The villa was well presented, spotlessly clean with excellent facilities and extremely comfortable beds. The pool was large enough to swim in and extremely well maintained. The location was great, with beautiful views of both countryside and sea in the distance. It is in a rural area with the associated morning calls of the cockerel, dogs and the occasional braying of the friendly donkey. An ideal location for a getaway from it all holiday. Local hotel which serves meals and Mike’s bar in the village were both very welcoming. There is a large supermarket and several small local ones in nearby Polis A trip to Kykkos monastery was well worth the drive, and hiring a boat from Latchi for a trip to the blue lagoon is a fabulous outing not to be missed. There is an excellent seafood restaurant in Pomos just this side of the Turkish border. Akroteri , although a longish journey down the coast had a lovely sandy beach, the water was warm and the tavern ‘on the beach’ served a really good lunch. The agents communications were good and our arrival was hassle free. We were given excellent directions to Lidl and Carrefour in Paphos where we stocked up on provisions on our way from the airport to the villa. The local owners were great and even gave us permission to pick any fruits we wanted from gardens and orchards''. |

''The villa was 5star. The location was quite remote and visitors would need a car. Paradisos Hills hotel for food. Latchi for sailing and good food. Lara bay for beautiful scenery. Owners very helpful. We reported a shower screen door which would not slide fully. We would use your website again.'' |

''Property is larger than it looks in the pictures, in fact larger than it looks from the outside also. As such all large rooms and bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and well maintained on arrival, inside and out. Everything you could need for a few weeks or a few months. Location is what the villa is all about, high in the hills with amazing panoramic views of pretty much uninterrupted forest and subsequently the sea. As a result the humidity seems lower and the air a little fresher than on the coast. Its remote but in a good way, virtually no passing traffic. The village is s short walk away and Polis 25 mins drive for a choice of restaurants, and bars. A car is pretty much mandatory for this villa in my view, and with some roads at >9% gradients something with reasonable power! I always get an automatic as its much easier on the hills. A visit to Mikes coffee shop in the village (you cant miss it they have lots of signs!) its not your typical coffee shop but lovely people. Down in Polis Square we always go to Savvas, you will never have a warmer welcome and although we only come once a year the owner recognises us and remembers our order from one day to the next. We discovered Finikas restaurant in Polis square last year and went back again, they are great value for money and we found the food to be of a good quality, though perhaps not the most imaginative menu. 3 courses for 15 Euros is pretty unbelievable these days, plus they thrown in a brandy with the bill. Always received great service from letsrentonline.com, respond quickly and clearly with all info.'' |

''We had a lovely time in Cyprus. I am sad to be back at home in work in the cold weather!! Beautiful villa. Had everything we needed and very spacious. Lovely little village, peaceful, friendly and very traditional. The hotel Paradisos at the bottom of the road is very nice. Lovely views, nice food and really friendly people. 100% satisfied with agent service. Easy to deal with, trust worthy and very kind to include a late check out for us free of charge. The owners were a lovely couple and very friendly. They explained where they were if we needed anything and advised us on some places to eat. Thank you for helping us through the booking of the villa. Everything was perfect.." |

''It was perfect. A absolute wonderfull and well furnished villa. We love coral bay in the area of Paphos, but that is an hour away from the house. No complaints about the service absolutely happy. On the property and with the service everyhing was perfect. There was nothing where we have to complain about. It was very nice that the house was so well furnished, with a lot of towels or enough sunbeds for example." |

''The villa was exceptionally clean, modern, well-equipped and spacious in a complex of 4 similar villas overlooking mountains to Paphos & the coast below. Located 15 mins drive north of Polis in the mountains, on the edge of the village of Lysos. Quiet and rural. The Troodos Mountains are on the doorstep and spectacular if you are a hiker. Lunch or dinner in the nearby village of Fyti at Maria's restaurant is great. Mike's cafe in Lysos is great for drinks, coffee, snacks and internet. Excellent agent service throughout. The local villa management live just a few meters away from the villa and were constantly on hand to shower us with their generous donations of fruit and veg from their garden. Just superb people. We cannot stress enough how helpful they were. " |

''The Vila was in very good shape, clean, well and smartly equipped. Pleasant to live in. Built in a way that lets one enjoy both the view of the mountain and the sea. The Villa is located in the friendly village of Lysos is 12 KM from Polis. 20 minutes drive from the beach. The location puts you right into a quite countryside vacation, with the benefit of being able to commute to the nearest town or the beach without thinking twice. It is suitable for those who are looking for a calm stay in Cyprus. Drove to Afrodith Bath, a 30 minutes drive. Few nature reserves (such as Stavros tis psokas) are in short driving distance. Those who are looking for sightseeing will find them attractive (been there last year). The service provided by Steven at LetsRentOnline, is the kind of service I would hope to get from any service provider and especially these who are dealing with leisure, responsive, accurate, helpful!." |

"The owners are very kind and helpful for all matters. When we arrived they sorted out all problems in short time. The villa is located in the hills above Polis and it offers increadible views over the mountains and to the sea. The location is very quiet, so you can relax all the time. As there is no bigger store in Lysos, you have to drive 15 minutes to Polis, but its no problem. We enjoyed the stay very much, we found the quiet place we hoped for." |

Lysos
Lysos is a traditional mountain village in Paphos District, Cyprus. It's a picturesque mountain village famous for its efforts to maintain the beauty and the traditions of Cyprus. At just under 500 metres above sea level the summers are a few degrees cooler than the fierce summer temperatures in the coastal towns, the air is less humid and there's usually a gentle mountain breeze. In various locations around Lysos there are many remarkable landmark churches. Ayios Georgios was built in the 13th century where frescoes of Saint Mama can be found and its still protected by the antiquities department. Churches such as Panayia Chryselousa constructed at the end of the 15th century with Byzantine and Gothic elements, Profitis Elias, Ayios Constantinos, Ayios Charalambos and the country church of Archangel Michael provide for a unique perspective of the village history. With an abundance of natural water Lysos was used in Cyprus as an industrial area for the melting of metals. The fountain located by the church and built in the 1900's was made entirely of stone including the five taps of which were used to supply fresh drinking water. Lysos is situated between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the spectacular mountains of Paphos Forest and the Troodos. Walking in the forests is a delight. Filled with pine trees, fruit and olive trees, wild flowers and herbs and vineyards the air is scented and the views spectacular.
Lysos is home to a very good traditional Cyprus taverna, with neighbouring shops and the more widely known Paradisos Hills Hotel (50m away from Villa Prosefhi). The Paradisos Hills Hotel is a small intimate hotel with only 15 rooms and a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving only the finest traditional Cyprus and International cuisine. Most of the food is locally sourced and much of it is organic and the Sunday buffet lunches are now known throughout Cyprus. The Paradisos Hills Hotel also has international evenings where guests and regular customers can experience something different and test the full range of its gastronomic skills. Travel a little way passing the pretty village of Peristerona and you reach the small town of Polis. There is plenty of activity to choose from in Polis, whether you wish to dine in one of the many good quality restaurants, have a coffee or lunch in the central square, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or maybe even a boat!
Some of the best horse riding in Cyprus is also on the doorstep in Lysos. Further info here: Horse Riding in Cyprus
Clay Pigeon Shooting is also now available in Lysos and represents great value for money. The owner is more than happy to take people there and get them started. Please ask for further details.
The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best in Cyprus and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself. Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. The watersports available at Latchi include diving, snorkelling, sailing, banana rides and a great deal more. Bring your UK driving licence and you can even hire a boat and explore the Akamas coast from the sea. Drop anchor when you feel like it and swim or snorkel in the warm crystal blue water of the Mediterranean Sea.Don't fancy being the captain? Take a boat ride to the 'Blue Lagoon', swim or snorkel in the sea, then come back to the pretty harbour at Latchi to eat. Try the famous 'Fish Meze' where you'll be served around 20 dishes including some of the freshest catches of the day whilst watching the world go by. The harbour at Latchi is perfect to while away some time people watching. For the more adventurous, you can explore the Akamas nature reserve and go all the way round to Lara Beach famous for its turtles and wonderful beach.
You can also venture to the nearby villages of Miliou, Droushia and Panagia or further on to Kathikas with its vineyards and wineries.Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in Winter, you can even ski! If you want to experience unspoilt Cyprus, Lysos is a great place to stay, all just a quick drive from Paphos Airport.
