Cyprus - Paphos, Tala

This high specification villa is situated at the end of a peaceful cul de sac, only a few minutes walk from Tala Village Square, with its small yet diverse collection of bars, restaurants and tavernas. All 3 bedrooms have En-Suite or adjacent bathrooms and overlook the superb garden areas, 10 x 5 metre private swimming pool and have lovely sea views.

DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR

The furnishings are not typical of a rental property; the owners have equipped the villa to a very high standard (thus the beds and sofas are nice and comfy!) as it is their intention (at some point), to make it a permanent home.

The open plan ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen, benefiting from an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine to name just a few. The living area with feature fireplace is stylishly furnished with a chocolate brown suite in Italian leather, flatscreen TV (with Satellite**), DVD player, Ipod Docking Station and CD player.

The dining area is furnished with a dining table that comfortably seats 6.

The first double bedroom with king-size bed is located on the ground floor and has patio doors that open directly on to the pool terrace. A separate shower room is located close by.

A bright and open white marble staircase, leads to the first floor where the spacious landing area (with picture window and seating) and remaining bedrooms are located. The spacious master bedroom features a king-size bed and has a full en-suite bathroom. Patio doors lead onto a large balcony with sofa set affording a relaxing setting to enjoy the sea views.

The final bedroom is a twin bedded room with an en-suite shower room and a private balcony overlooking the swimming pool. All bathrooms have heated towel rails.

Air-conditioning (which is included in the price) is provided in all bedrooms (as are remote controlled ceiling fans), living area and kitchen. A safety deposit box is provided for safekeeping. All bed linen and towels (including those for by the pool) are provided.A travel cot and highchair are supplied free of charge on request.

Wi-fi is included in the rental rate

**The current IPTV system features most UK Sky channels (premium sports, documentaries, movies & music included) as well as many channels in German, Spanish and Russian. It also features a library of 900 movies, series and children's series which is regularly updated.**

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR

The large 10m x 5m private pool is surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a poolside shower. A new brick built BBQ and an 'Outback' Gas BBQ is provided along with a table and chairs (under the pergola) for alfresco dining at all times of day and on those warm summer evenings.

The pool, gardens & terraces are all illuminated at night. The maturing landscaped gardens planted with olive and lemon trees surround the villa and are dotted with colourful hibiscus borders. Privacy fencing to the front of the garden provides additional screening and the villa has its own shaded private parking place.

''The villa was lovely, very clean on arrival and the pool was spotless as well. We had a mid holiday linen change, the girls were lovely and cleaned and swept all the floors as well. Love the location, in a quiet area but only 5 mins walk from various places to eat and a couple of places to have a drink. Ate in all restaurants in Tala, all were lovely, but our favourite is Meliza's. Marios is a good bar for drinks, both in Tala square.

Absolutely satisfied , have booked with you many times and wouldn't hesitate in the future. We had a fabulous holiday and hope to return in a few yearsy''.

''We LOVED the villa. Excellent location, once you have a car. The village is certainly within walking distance but I wouldn’t like to have been carrying groceries or luggage from there to the villa. We loved Tweedys restaurant in Kissonerga & Melitzia Tavern in Tala. Lara Beach was fantastic but getting there is not for the faint hearted!

Yes, very much so. Everything was very straight forward. We never heard from or met the owners at any stage during our fortnight there! This might bother some people but we were actually delighted to be trusted with their gorgeous home. We had a great holiday!

Many thanks for your assistance in making it such. We definitely would return in a heartbeat''.

''The Villa was perfect for us with everything we could have wanted or needed, the rooms were very spacious and was like a home from home, the outside space was generous with a very large pool. The location of the villa was lovely, in a quiet private cul de sac, approximately
5 mins walk from the lovely square in the centre of Tala. There are some lovely traditional Cypriot restaurants in Tala Square with Melitza being our favourite, but we ate at all of them and wasn't disappointed.

The service from let's rent online is exceptional, very helpful, responds very quickly and makes the process of booking very easy, safe and secure. We are looking forward to our next trip in September with let's rent on line. Regards Geoff & Shirley''.

''Many thanks for your email we had a fabulous time!! The villa is fabulous, everything you could wish for in a holiday home. Location for Tala Square is great, only 5 mins walk, however a car is required to explore Paphos and the other locations around. Melitzia tavern & Stamna'a tavern in Tala were our favourite restaurants to eat in. Marios bar in Tala was good for a drink. We visited The Last Castle which was fab too! we went to Agios Georgious beach and visited Turtle beach as well. Service provided by the agents was second to none, very reliable communications. The only communication we had with the locals was with the cleaning staff which again was excellent. Many Thanks again''.

''We had a very enjoyable time at Lemon Tree Villa and were delighted with it’s location and facilities. It was exactly the type of accommodation and location that we were hoping for. Commenting specifically on your questions:

The layout was perfect for our needs.
The Location was Ideal for us, out of the main town but within a lovely village with good services (bars/shops/restaurants).
Marios Bar and Stamna Tavern in the village in particular. Coral Bay beach was lovely and sandy, Latchi beach/harbour was lovely too and a trip to Nicosia is a must!
Thank you for good communication throughout.Only saw the local manager(ess) once at the start but we had no problems to bother her with during the stay.
Thank you for keeping us informed throughout the process'.

''Absolutely brilliant villa, very clean and included everything for a holiday that we needed. Having been to Cyprus a few times we knew the location, Pafos 10 min drive, Tala Square 5 min walk, lovely places to eat.
Definitely recommend Melitzers in Tala Square fabulous food. We visited Turtle Beach bit of a scary road but fantastic beach, also ate at The Last Castle, bbq food fantastic. Very satisfied you accommodated our request on booking and payment, also very quick responses with any questions we had. On arrival the Wifi wasn't working, Dawn sorted it out for us, she visited the villa and called the company on our behalf. Pool was kept spotless throughout our stay. e have booked through yourselves numerous times and wouldn't hesitate to book again when we return. Thank you we had a fantastic holiday, and hopefully we will be returning soon, would not hesitate to book again with yourselves''.

''We came to the villa on May 10th for out honeymoon. Had a very late arrival so asked for LetsRentOnline to arrange transport from Paphos airport. This worked brilliantly. Andy the taxi driver was there on arrival, what a great chap. He even had is own mini-bar in the cab and offered us drinks as a welcome to Cyprus!!! We arrived in the small hours and let ourselves in after locating the key in the keysafe (helped of course by Andy). Andy left, then disaster.....we went out to look at the lovely flood lit pool and locked ourselves out. Be warned, when the front door closes there's no getting back in. Everything locked inside except my mobile phone and (you've guessed it) Andys card. We contacted him and he in turn managed to find a number for 'Denise' who held a spare key. She came out to let us in at 2am. Denise was so friendly and this wasn't a problem. Also Andy said if we couldn't get hold of her we could have his spare room. What a taxi driver!! Denise explained that the key issue is normally mentioned upon arrival but as we were out of hours she was intending to call to see us the following morning. A minor hickup to start the holiday. Everything else was perfect. Villa is spacious, well equiped and in a fantastic location. Lovely and quiet but only a short walk to the village square for bars and restaurants. Be warned..if you have cocktails or spirits at Marios the measures are very generous. Great fun just sitting watching people trying to walk straight as they leave. Bathrooms are a little tired in places but who cares? The talking point is the lovely gardens and pool. Pool cleaner came very early morning on a couple of occasions and gardeners had a whirlwind visit on one day but kept well out of our way. I-phone docking station is for the 4 not 5. Again not a problem as there is a full sky TV package including music and sports. A very relaxing holiday. And we're already talking about coming back next year. 100% recommended. Steve & Caroline''

''The villa was excellent. Clean, well equipped and a pleasure to stay in. In a quiet location. Not overlooked. Mass soura taverna in the village for good quality meal. Cliff top bar on road to kamares serves English beer in a pub setting. Agents were very good. Information pack emailed prior to holiday excellent. Cannot fault local managers. Friendly, helpful and cleaned villa mid stay which we didn't expect.''

''We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cyprus at Lemon Tree Villa - we really didn't want to leave! I would like to add that the driver you sent for us at the airport, Andreas, was the most wonderful welcoming man. He helped us throughout our holiday and was charming throughout. I have kept his number and will definitely use him again when we return to Cyprus. Lemon Tree Villa was beautiful. It was clean and spacious and just what we wanted. Although not in the centre of a big town it was only a short walk to Tala Square where we could find most things and again only a 10 minute taxi ride to Coral Beach which was idyllic. The local shops and restaurants on Tala Square were excellent. Everything was clear and as I said the driver you sent was fabulous. We only had to ring the local manager a couple of times and each time they were pleasant and courteous''.
Review submitted by Clem from Cambridgeshire (Submitted: 02/09/2013)

Property was lovely: spotlessly clean, fresh, modern. A pleasure to stay in. Well maintained, chap who came to do the garden was great, very friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Although there were houses close by, you didn’t feel at all overlooked and it was very quiet. It was great for access to Tala. One bar/taverna in particular was between Coral Bay and Sea Caves, right on the cliff edge with the ship that’s marooned there. What a location! It was absolutely beautiful. Sorry, can’t remember the name, but a real find.

Trips out: For any equine fanatics, riding at St Georges Ranch, Sea Caves, was brilliant: fabulous well-kept horses, great scenery for a hack, hugely knowledgeable instructor – can do anything, hacking, show-jumping, dressage. Well worth packing jodhs and boots and braving the heat for! For petrol heads, you can’t beat the kart circuit at Paphos karting – have two boys and a husband who race in England and we all always have a brilliant time there – even my 7yr old daughter had a go! It’s an excellently designed circuit and karts are well maintained. Great service from you.

''Fabulous! Exactly what we needed! Perfect for the village, near enough and far enough (!!!) from Paphos and Coral Bay. Stamna Taverna in the village - yummy food and very reasonable! Family are lovely too. Oniro Bar at the Coral Bay shipwreck serves the most amazing cocktails and food with the sun setting right in front of you. Last Castle overlooking Lara beach - a hairy journey there but the views are spectacular and whilst there is not much choice for food, they do it very well! In town Grazies and Almond Tree are old favourites! Couldn't have asked more! Andreas taxi man is an absolute star so thank you for putting us in touch. Denise and Phil were great! I'll be in touch in the next few days re next year!''
Review submitted by Ian from South Bucks (Submitted: 01/08/2013)
The location is very good, being genuinely a short walk from Tala village square, unlike the false claims made for other villas that we've stayed in. This year I timed it at 9 minutes walking from the villa to the square. I would thoroughly recommend this villa, as long as nobody books the weeks that we want! There are 2 bars, 4 restaurants & 3 shops all within a 10 minute walk including a new local supermarket only 5 minutes walk away. Mario's bar has a large range of bottled & draught beers.

All of the restaurants are worth a try. By car there is a super restaurant on the coast road beyond Coral Bay, on the right hand side, called Anisi, lovely people, lovely food, not cheap but worth it.

Service from agents was first class, any e-mail queries were answered almost immediately. Local agents were friendly & helpful, we had a problem with the TV set top box "freezing" which was instantly fixed over the phone.

"The villa was of a high standard, and would definitely recommend to others. The location was very good for the local bars and restaurants, but a short drive to the larger resorts. We would recommend all the local bars and restaurants. Very satisfied with the service provided. The management for the Villa was excellent, the cleanliness of the pool and villa were second to none. Fully enjoyed our stay in a lovely villa, and resort. We would definitely consider visiting Cyprus again

"Property was excellent. Air conditioning was a big bonus, and wi-fi was much appreciated. Super pool too. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. Always felt safe and secure. About 10 minutes walk from Tala square. It was all uphill but easily managable for all but the elderly and infirm. Drive to major supermarkets (Coral Bay or Paphos) as you would expect but many smaller ones nearby. Small one in Tala square is surprisingly well stocked. Tala is a quiet village but it has several bars/restaurants and is in a great position for access by car to Paphos, Coral Bay, Peyia and all other west coast villages. Highly recommend several restaurants. Yialos and Andria in Coral Bay, The Last Castle past Ayios Georgios, Vatouthkia on the road to the Adonis Baths and Yiannis Tevarna in Kathikas. All bars and restaurants in Tala are good too. The Cliff Club is always guaranteed a breeze which is most welcome in July/August. This is our 4th year renting with you. Happy as usual."

"Fantastic villa in a beautiful location, only 5-10 min walk to Tala Square which had a few restaurants/bars. Tala is very quiet but I would definitely recommend it if you are after a quiet, relaxing holiday . We were well looked after and any questions we had were answered immediately. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed, the pool is really good for a villa of this size. We had a great week and will definitely return in the future!"

"We had a great time, thank you. The villa is as good as any we've stayed in & this one really is a 10 min walk from Tala village square unlike several we've stayed in which claim to be but are really not! We would like to book for next year."

"We had an amazing holiday at this Villa. I would recommend that you hire a car throughout your stay as taxis can be expensive and you do have to travel to experience the best of paphos. If you take a walk to the little town then go and visit bubble and squeak for drink and food very friendly staff and reasonably prices. I would revisit this villa as we were well looked after!! Thank you"

"We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at Lemon Tree Villa and are happy to give it a very high recommendation. Steven, the letting agent was very, very helpful and Louise and her husband really take care of the property. Lemon Tree is probably the best equipped villa we have stayed in and that makes life so much easier. We had so much enjoyment from the excellent pool and the very well lit outside areas. We loved the location and the views down to the sea. Tala Square is a joy for a drink or a meal and if you want the tourist places like Papos or Coral Bay, they are in easy reach by car. If you crave Sky TV or the internet then Lemon Tree is not for you but our family loved it and hope to return."

"Lemon Tree Villa is a true 5 star villa in a wonderful location and position. The village of Tala is upmarket and has good amenities. The village square was only a 10 minute walk and the nearby bakery sold the most delicious breads and pastries as well as other conveniences. The booking process was easy an the agent was very helpful with a fast response to any of our questions. We would recommend the villa to anyone. Thanks again."
