Set in a large corner position in a mature, quiet and affluent area of Sea Caves, this three bedroom / one en-suite that sleeps six single storey detached Cyprus holiday villa has been designed, furnished and landscaped to the highest standards. The Winning Post has a private pool with roman steps, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, wi-fi, Ipod Docking station, enclosed garden with great sea views. The Winning Post in Sea Caves is located in an elevated position within a small development surrounded by banana plantations and moorlands with both Coral Bay and the village of Peyia close by. The Winning Post is a villa with all modern comforts including a private pool with roman steps, a covered pergola with large dining table that seats six and a traditional Cypriot stone built barbecue.

DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR
Inside The Winning Post villa there are three double sized bedrooms, the master bedroom having an en-suite with Grohe shower, a family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, breakfasting area with table and chairs, child friendly items such as travel cot and highchair, water purifier and much more. Think of all the Cyprus sunshine, the views across to the Mediterranean Sea and the outdoor seating/lounging areas and think about the great holiday you'll have at The Winning Post villa.
First impressions on entering the villa are the modern clean lines and smart design features. The lounge has a TV with Premium Channel IPTV* & DVD player, accompanied by a quality and comfortable wicker style sofa with matching chair.
The breakfasting area has four high backed chairs with round table to seat four. The kitchen is well equipped with fitted units, granite work surfaces and tiled splashbacks. Major appliances include a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob and hood and microwave oven.
As the villa is all on one level (great for the elderly or infirm), access to each of the three bedrooms is from the adjacent hallway.
The master bedroom has patio doors opening out to the private pool and outdoor living areas. It has fitted wardrobes and a lovely en-suite shower room with walk-in shower in a modern style. The second bedroom has a king-size bed and fitted wardrobes. The third bedroom is a twin room with two large single sized beds and fitted wardrobes.
A family bathroom with bath and shower over completes the internal description of the villa. The villa is fully air-conditioned, has fly screens fitted throughout and has a supply of fresh drinking water to the kitchen.
There is an electronic safety deposit box and the water is heated by solar panels on the roof.

DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR
The Winning Post villa has an extremely attractive landscaped and enclosed garden featuring a 8m x 4m private pool with roman steps and ample room for the six sun loungers supplied. A large wooden pergola with interleaved woven fabric provides extra shade and the large table and chairs seat six comfortably.
There is a traditional Cypriot stone built barbecue in the enclosed garden.The outside living facilities at The Winning Post villa provide the ideal place for relaxing in the shade, taking in the sea views, alfresco dining and socialising with your party.
The grounds of The Winning Post villa include a covered car port and driveway as well as an outdoor shower.

The Winning Post is a prime positioned holiday villa within an affluent area known as 'Sea Caves'. Nearby is the Akamas, a protected area of outstanding natural beauty with one of the best beaches in Cyprus at Lara, yet still close to Coral Bay and the bustling village of Peyia with their shops, bars and restaurants. The Winning Post is just a 10-15 minute walk to a few of the best known local restaurants in the area that provide good food, hospitality and views within a peaceful and relaxing setting, next to some of the areas many banana plantations. The Sea Caves area, like much of Paphos, was once rural and barren land. Over recent years the Sea Caves area has changed dramatically. Now Sea Caves is one of the finest residential areas in Cyprus with some of the most exclusive villas on the island. It has the unique combination of breathtaking rugged Cypriot coastline and small sandy coves with crystal clear Mediterranean Sea waters.
Sunsets in the region are simply magical. Following along beside the sea from Sea Caves you come to the pretty, picturesque fishing village and harbour of Agios Georgios with a small sand/shingle beach. Agios Georgios, like Sea Caves, is a perfect spot for snorkelling and scuba diving or topping up your sun tan. We strongly recommend tasting the local speciality "fish meze" in one of the selection of small family run restaurants at Agios Georgios. The dramatic sunsets and amazing coastline beside the Mediterranean Sea are not to be missed.
Going the other way takes you to Coral Bay, noted for its blue flag beaches of with soft sand and crystal clear sea waters. Coral Bay's main street includes shops and restaurants open year round. In the summer Coral Bay has an excellent choice of restaurants, bars, and night clubs if you want to dance the night away. Other things you can do in the Sea Caves area include many watersports on the beach at Coral Bay, diving, visiting the Paphos Bird and Animal Park, horse riding, visiting the protected Akamas Peninsula and Lara Beach Nature Reserve (famous for turtles), hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, sailing and many more. The sights of Paphos and the renowned Paphos Aphrodite Water Park are also easily accessible, as are numerous archaeological ruins in Paphos such as the Tombs of the Kings and Paphos Archaeological Park. If you want to get out and explore Cyprus' fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas Peninsula, Polis, Latchi or even the Troodos mountains.
The Troodos is of course the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski! The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations.

Nothing was too much trouble!! Kitchen was fully equipped with what was needed when we did cook although most of the eating was done when we dined out or used the BBQ outside beside the pool. The location was in a quiet part of the sea caves but with fantastic views of the sea and sunsets. We hired a car which was probably a good thing as we could venture off into paphos and coral Bay whenever needed. We have been coming cyprus for 15 year so too many restaurants to mension but we always go to the Japanese restaurant Samisen in coral bay, the last castle & many more. We also use the waterpark for the kids and the wavedancer half day cruise is also a must.The service that was provided was excellent from start to finish, although we didn't meet anyone there was always somebody ready for any of our needs. We will probably be visiting Cyprus again next year or even this Christmas period!!! The cleanliness of the villa both inside and out is exceptional. The grounds and inside the villa well maintained. Only improvement would be a light outside in the car port. The villa is located in a very quiet development with sea views. You need a car to visit Populated areas of Coral Bay and Paphos but for us the location perfect. We visited at the end of October and the two restaurants within walking distance closed early so if we wanted to eat out we had to travel. Would highly recommend Doumo Restaurant off the Tomb of the Kings road, Martellis in the same area. Tea for Two for lunches. Certainly would not recommend Othellos in Coral Bay. Local supermarket Phillipos excellent for all groceries and fresh meat, fish and bread. Reasonably priced. The booking with rent-paphos-villas/letsrentonline is very efficient, communication, information and directions really good. We had a couple of small problems whilst on holiday and these were resolved very quickly. Hannah lovely and mid week linen change was in fact a full clean which was a pleasant surprise. We travel to Cyprus frequently and will definitely be booking again with letsrentonline, already have villas in mind for the next visit with the family and will not rule out staying at The Winning Post again. .'' |

Everything you need in the kitchen is there. The villa is excellently furnished and has a nice pool and from there you see the coast and if the weather is good (what it is mostly) you can watch the sunsets in the evenings. The location is in a very quiet neighbourhood and from there it is not too far to many sights of the Cyprus West and of the mountanous regions. It is just a few minutes drive to several beaches. The water in April was already quite comfortable and very clear. Coral Bay with lots of shops and restaurants is not far. We liked very much Phideas Restaurant (with live music on Fridays and excellent food and service) and Corallo in Coral Beach. The service of LetsRentOnline was just perfect. We got all necessary information and support we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxed. Communication with local manager was easy and helpful, any request was answerd immediately. ''The Winning Post was a fabulous villa with all amenities and many more such as sky TV and reliable WI-FI, water purifier in the kitchen and a huge fridge freezer. It was just like home from home. The beds were the most comfiest we have ever slept in when we have been on holiday. The fly screens were also an amazing feature as it allowed the doors and windows to be open to allow a nice cool breeze without the worry of insects and mosquitos coming in. It was in a very quiet location with sea views and within easy reach of places of interest and so easy to find with the directions provided. We would recommend Santa Marie for fabulous fish and chips, Viklari The Last Castle for the best BBQ pork and chicken ever with amazing home made chips and salad. Philippos was a well stocked supermarket with fresh produce and everything under one roof. Very satisfied with the service provided which was purely e-mail as we only stayed 1 week. Only communication we had locally was with Hannah on the day we were leaving as our flight had been delayed by 1 hour and I contacted her to request staying until 12pm as we had my elderly mother with us and it was very hot.....Hannah was very polite and courteous and advised of course we could stay until lunchtime and to text her upon leaving, which I did..'' |

Back in UK. Arrived home at 3:30 this morning. Tired but great memories and photos. Comments about our stay at The Winning Post: The villa was clean and spacious. Pool beautiful. Location was extremely quiet and peaceful. Loved it. Not overlooked. A car is necessary. We recommend Coral Bay Beach if you like busy. Polis Beach is a much quieter beach with a lovely bar and fantastic views on the way there. Fat Mammas restaurant was recommended by the taxi driver so we went there on our last night. Very busy. Excellent food, large portions and a cabaret to enjoy as well. Highly recommend Half Day Heaven sea cruise on the Ocean Flyer. Fantastic time with friendly crew and lovely food. Live music, swim in the sea and take a ride on the Dolphin Twister! Great service from yourselves. Everything very straightforward. Thanks for the welcome pack. Loved the taxi drivers for our transfers. Also thanks for recommending John Malarkey of Brit Cars. Hannah was easy to get in touch with and she agreed we could stay in the villa until 7pm as we had a late flight. Thanks. Planning to return to Cyprus next summer.
