Winding up through the banana plantations after a short drive along the coast road from Paphos brings you to Peyia where Beau View is located on the hillside overlooking Coral Bay. Peyia is a very typical Cypriot village. A beautiful ancient church forms the heart of the village while the narrow streets and alleyways are full of old and interesting houses adorned with colourful flowers and citrus trees. The village is still largely unspoilt with lively tavernas and friendly locals. You can buy all your provisions including fresh meat and bread in the village stores with the early morning aroma of freshly baked bread, sweet and savoury local pastries and cakes coming from the Peyia bakery being almost too much to resist! The village of Peyia is one of the most picturesque and popular villages in the area. It is spread over a large area with the village centre (only 200m/2-5 minute walk) having many good amenities including Bars (with Wi-Fi) (‘The Mill’, ‘The Jail’, ‘The Grande’, ‘JJ’s’), Restaurants (home to Sophie’s themed restaurant, ‘The Peyia Tavern’, ‘Cousins’), Takeaways, Shops (Philippos supermarket, Constaninides Bakery, pharmacy, fishmonger, deli) and a bank (to name but a few). Only a 5 minute drive away is the famous Coral Bay resort with its Sandy beach for all the family as well as its more extensive selection of nightlife and daytime activities.

Other things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, reptile park, horse riding, Akamas Peninsular & Lara Beach Nature Reserve (famous for turtles), hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, sea caves area, watersports, sailing, wineries and much much more. Amusements and the Waterpark in Paphos are also easily accessible from Peyia, as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings, Paphos Mosaics and the Christian Catacombs. For golf enthusiasts, Paphos area now offers 4 golf courses. Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley are both approximately a 40 minute drive from Beau View, Tsada golf course (now Minthis Hills) is a short 20 minute drive from Peyia. The newly opened Nick Faldo designed ‘Elea’ golf club looks to be the new Jewel in the crown and will put Cyprus firmly on the map as a European golfing destination. The course is near Paphos airport which is just under 30 minutes drive from Beau View.

If you want to get out and explore some fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas Peninsula, Polis, Latchi or even Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations. Troodos is of course the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the can ski!

''The property was exactly what we expected, spacious, clean and met all our needs. We loved the location it was peaceful and the views were beautiful. We have stayed in Peyia before and like this location away from the busy resort but near restaurants and bars locally. We liked grande cafe in Peyia and Trattoria la Vigna in coral bay, however found there was so much choice most meals we had out were good.

Very satisfied with all information and communication ''.

''Lovely building. Great apartment. Great size rooms, lots of space and well stocked with equipment. Infinity pool was fantastic, the best pool we have ever been in. Great sized balcony. Panoramic views from lounge & both bedrooms also. TV a bit hit & miss but that is Cyprus (great selection of channels when working)! Nice village location, very close to all amenities (Bars, restaurants, supermarket etc.). Walking distance to Coral Bay (although quite a climb on the way back or a 10 Euro taxi ride). Amazing views over the sea. NB Supermarket will deliver to your property (useful for your first bigger shop) although only a 4-5 minute walk.

Peyia Tavern (great Stifado)
Grande (pork chop the best ever ..... but a challenge due to its size!)
Burger/Kebab bar opposite the Mill Pub very good for take aways or they will serve you the food at the Mill Pub. All very good. We would not recommend the Old Cinema restaurant (closest one to the Apartment)

Exceptional service from you and very prompt response to all questions we raised etc. Taxi service offered (Andreas / Andy) was excellent & we used him the the return journey also. John & Lynne were very helpful locally. ''.

''The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, the furniture and appliances were modern and all worked well, as for the location it was stunning, the views down to coral bay, kissonerga and onto paphos were wonderful so not a lot of time spent away from the apartment, everything we needed was there, when we did go out we used the old cinema, gettonias, peyia tavern, the mill, the brewery and the medeterrinan, we loved the eccentricity of the medeterrianian, we used the indian ocean, the peyia chippy and the kebab shop across from the mill, cant remember the name, we alao used serianas, lekanto and corralios down in coral bay, all good food no complaints, John and linda were always asking if everything was ok when we saw them paasing while we were at the pool which again is superb, the close proximety to the village is also a bonus, although we had a hired car we did use the bus service from the square down to coral bay, we do intend to visit Cyprus next year but ive already booked the villa we had last year down in kissonerga, this is because our family are coming with us next year and we need more bedrooms and our to avoid upsetting people our own space, overall we had a fantastic time at the apartment and you played a big part in keeping me up to date throughout the booking process/payments etc. my only dissapointment was not securing a late check out but i should have booked an additional night to ensure we could have stayed right to the last miniute before flying home, I would certainly contact letsrentonline again for holiday rentals and will be recommending friends to letsrentonline when they want to visit cyprus, thank you very much for having us''.

''The apartment is modern, one of 11 in an attractive well-maintained apartment building. The living-room and kitchen are big, the bedrooms compact with separate bathrooms and WC. The furnishings are simple and modern, the beds are comfortable. The open balcony is large and well equipped with a new table and chairs (which we liked very much, in contrast to the older armchair style we had last year).Wide range of TV channels, we could even watch German football at times! We were impressed by the double safety locks on the front door.

Beautifully situated with views across and down to Coral Bay. The bus service has been extended and is even better this year (in spite of the one-day bus-strike!) We really like living in Peyia, with all the restaurants and Philippi’s supermarket round the corner! Lara Beach is a natural unspoiled beach while Coral Bay is densely-populated, even in November. Swimming is better in Coral Bay. Favourite occupation : walking (or running) in the Akamas or along the coast. The little restaurant at Corallia Beach does a wonderful fish Meze for two people at a very fair price.

Yes very satisfied with your service, loads of information – we had no problems whatsoever. John and Lynn worked really hard to keep the property spick and span. They were always there in emergencies e.g. How do you get the TV on after a power cut? and were always friendly and helpful

We enjoyed the three weeks in Beau View very much and I have tried to answer most of your questions as straightforwardly as I can! Our best wishes for a good Christmas and a successful New Year.''.

''The villa was exactly as described on the website and the photos were accurate. It was very clean and spacious. The uninterrupted views from the balcony were amazing and included a table with 4 chairs, 2 sunbeds and an umbrella so perfect for relaxing at anytime of the day.

The location is perfect- only a few mins walk from the tavernas and a supermarket which sold most things- cheapest place to buy mataxa! We ate at The Art house, The Old Cinema, Peyia Tavern and Cousins- all of which were very good. Our favourite was Cousins as the food and the service was excellent (you do have to give 24 hours notice for some meals e.g. moussaka, lamb kleftico). You are also given a complementary orange dessert and liqueur (men get metaxa) at the end of the meal. Prices were good too. Easy drive into Coral Bay from the apartment too. We hired a car for the whole holiday which we used daily. (Booked via Zest) We went to Nicosia and explored the Troodos mountains. We hired an off road buggy for a day from a hire company in Coral Bay to go to Lara Bay and explore the Akamas area. Would definitely do it again.

I was very impressed with the service and communication from LetsRentOnline. Right from the beginning nothing was too much trouble as I asked loads of questions before booking and the response was virtually immediate. The information pack once we had booked was very detailed- a lot of it was information you tend to find in the accommodation so good to print out before you go. Excellent directions to the apartment. The local managers live in one of the apartments and addressed any issues we had very quickly- we had problems with the electrics and they got someone in the next day as it was Sunday then everything was fine.

We are hoping to return to Cyprus soon and to the same apartment. We had a fantastic holiday with the apartment being a major part of the reason. Thank you! Amanda .''.

''Hope all well with you. Just back to work this morning. We had an absolutely lovely time, met up with some old friends and made some new ones. The weather was glorious (a bit too hot when we drove up to Limassol for a few hours - it was registering 43 degrees in the car on the return)!!!!!

In answer to your questions: Excellent property, roomy, well maintained and well equipped. Beautiful setting overlooking the coast (quiet area, 5 minute walk to the local square).

Locally in Peyia village - The Green Hill Restaurant, Peyia Tavern and The Old Cinema Tavern,
The Old Mill Bar
Coral Bay - Serani, Corallo Restaurants and Phidias Tavern Zentas Bar.
Trip to Lara Beach - a must is the The Last Castle Restaurant - beautiful views over the bay and excellent food

First class service delivered by LetsRentOnLine.Com and the local managers. All information speedily provided.''.

''We had a lovely holiday thank you. Apartment (property) was lovely. Very spacious, well equipped. Lovely views, clean etc. couldn't fault it. Pool and poolside again, lovely, spotless. We liked the location. Nice little village ...not as touristy as the "resorts". Restaurants - we ate at the Grande in Peyia. Very good food and lots of it. We ate at Oniros by the sea - well worth a visit. We were more than satisfied with your service for letsrentonline. Especially as I asked you lots and lots of questions ha ha. You always answered and gave me detailed answers. Excellent!!''.

''The property was excellent, well appointed with all the facilities you would wish for. The location is excellent, very close to the village of Peyia. We really enjoyed The Grande, The Peyia Tavern and Oniro. We also enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of Potima bay and its beach bar. Your service was again excellent. ''It was just perfect, almost new building, all is very clean. Absolutely what we were looking for, away from touristic paths, but still close to everything, calm and without distractions. Paseidonas restaurant at the harbour, Hondros Taverna - is absolutely wonderful, best food we had. Aphrodite place of birth has the most exciting view :) John was very helpful. Very happy with all service.''

''The villa was to a high standard and very spacious with everthing you could want for a very relaxing & comfortable holiday. The location was just great with such amazing views. The restaurants in Peiga are very good and liked the Grande, we also went to the Farm Yard Restaurant in Kathikas which was really good. very satisfied, I think the service you provide is of a high standard and nothing is too much trouble''.

''The apartment was great, very clean and had a brilliant view. No complaints at all. Perfect location, beautiful view high up in the mountains. We hired a car, however wouldn't have felt stranded if we didn't. We loved Coral Bay beach, and drove to various restaurants in Coral Bay and Paphos, Chloe's chinese, Oliveto and Poppadums were my favourite (Not very Cypriot though!) Very satisfied with the service from you as agents. Very satisfied while we were there too, John and Linda were lovely and very helpful.''

Review submitted by Kristie from Manchester (Submitted: 20/04/2013

''The apartment was beautiful and just as we expected. The furnishings were of a very high standard. The external communal areas were well kept. The apartment could not have been in a better location as it was extrememly close to Peyia village. The views from the property were spectacular. Peyia Tavern which we only went to on our last night was excellent value and the service was good. The Mill Bar has fantastic, attentive staff. We visitied Vrisi last time we were in Peyia and were disspointed but we visitied again and it was totally different. Great food, good atmosphere, busy and always had the sporting events on TV. Finally the Brewery Bar, great value bar snacks and a great place to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Great service from yourselves and what a lovely couple John and Linda are. They made us feel very welcome when we arrived and it was reassuring knowing that they were on site in case we needed anything''.
