The annual Cyprus Rally (raced every year since 1970) is a must for every motorsports fan - stay in a rented villa or apartment in Paphos to be around to enjoy the action to the full. The world’s best drivers and cars push the Cyprus mountain tracks and roads to the limit. The Cyprus Rally is a round of the FIA World Rally Championship. Traditionally run in the autumn, in 2009 it moved to the spring. An incredible spectacle as the world’s best rally drivers storm through some of Cyprus’ stunning countryside. The picturesque tracks of the Troodos mountains reverberate to the sounds of high-tech, high-speed rally cars! The Cyprus Rally is organised by the Cyprus Automobile Association and is a round of the World Rally Championship Calendar. In 2009 it featured a first – the incorporation of mixed surfaces into the Special Stages. Day one was on asphalt, days two and three were fought out on challenging gravel stages.
