| "Villa Naxos is located in a very private part of the village of Peyia. The views from the villa are spectacular night and day. The villa itself is clean, spacious and has all the mod cons any holiday maker could hope for. It was pretty much a home from home. We arrived to find a welcome pack containing all the essentials such as tea, milk, bread, wine, etc, which was great and meant we didnt have to immediately rush out to find local shops after our journey. The pool at the villa was a good size and was cleaned and maintained quite regularly. The village itself is very quaint and charming and offers a refreshing alternative to the more commercial parts of Cyprus. The main thing we would stress to any future visitors would be to immediately hire a car unless you wish to remain exclusively within the Peyia village (bear in mind there is no regular bus service to Paphos, Polis, etc). We had an enjoyable and memorable stay at Villa Naxos and would recommend it to others who wish to see the real Cyprus." |

| "Villa Naxos was a beautiful villa with panaramic views overlooking paphos. It was very clean and spacious. The only down side to to the villa was that it had a television but no t.v. ariel. We did have a DVD player but the DVDS were very poor pirate copies which we could not watch. We dont come on holiday to watch tv but when you have children they do like to watch a little tv of an evening. Our holiday neighbours in the next villa also complained about having a tv which could not be used. If we did have any problems we telephoned the villa staff who were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this villa. If you want a quiet, peaceful, relaxing holiday set in a traditional village then this is the holiday for you!"Value: , Met expectations: , Recommend: , Overall:
--> Owner reply: : Many thanks for your very kind review. We have taken on board your comments and have added Sateliite TV to the villa. I very much hope that we see you again in Cyprus. Thanks again. |

Beach/Sea: 3km Winding up through the banana plantations after a short drive along the coast road from Paphos brings you to Peyia. Villa Naxos has a delightful position on the hillside in Peyia overlooking the sea at Coral Bay. The village of Peyia is one of the most picturesque and popular villages in the Paphos area. Peyia is spread over a large area with the village centre having many good amenities including bars, restaurants, tavernas, shops and banks. Peyia is a typical Cypriot village. A beautiful ancient church forms the heart of the village while the narrow streets and alleyways are full of old and interesting houses adorned with colourful flowers and citrus trees. Peyia is still largely unspoilt with lively tavernas and friendly locals. You can also buy all your provisions including fresh meat and bread in the shops in Peyia. The early morning aroma of freshly baked bread, sweet and savoury local pastries and cakes coming from the Peyia bakery is almost too much to resist! Things to do in the Peyia area include many watersports on the beach at Coral Bay, diving, Paphos Bird and Animal Park, horse riding, visiting the protected Akamas Peninsula and Lara Beach Nature Reserve (famous for turtles), hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, the Sea Caves and Agios Georgios area, sailing and many more. From Peyia the attractions in Paphos and renowned Paphos Aphrodite Water Park are also easily accessible, as are numerous archaeological ruins in Paphos such as the Tombs of the Kings and Paphos Archaeological Park. If you want to get out and explore Cyprus' fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas Peninsula, Polis, Latchi or even the Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations.Troodos is the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski!
